Backnang, Germany, 22 January 2024: Hiltron Communications announces a key addition its board with the appointment of Jochen Ermel as Managing Director. He succeeds Joachim Kärcher who steps down to concentrate on his activity as Managing Director of Hiltron’s sister company, ESA Microwave. Part of the Danmon Group, Hiltron Communications provides a wide range of satcom-related products and services from its headquarters at Backnang near Stuttgart.

Graduating in civil engineering and environmental technology at Bundeswehr University Munich, Jochen Ermel was active for 10 years in the field of finance. He then joined Rosenberger Hochfrequenztechnik GmbH & Co. KG where he specialised in the development of product strategies and promotion across a wide range application areas and geographical regions
