Leipzig, Germany, March 4th, 2025: DHD audio will promote its broad range of audio production technology at Radiodays Europe 2025 in the Megaron Athens International Conference Centre, March 9th-11th.
Co-exhibiting on stand 25 (Broadcatch S.A.) with distribution partner Thum + Mahr and PHILIPPOS NAKAS Music House, DHD will demonstrate the RM1 all-in-one audio interface which allows fully professional audio content to be created in practically any location for onsite recording or live feed to a broadcast station.
“Most reporters today are accustomed to contributing live commentary via their mobile phone,” says Christoph Gottert, DHD’s international sales manager. “The RM1 greatly extends that power by allowing full broadcast quality content creation and reporter/guest interaction from home, from a hotel room or even from a road vehicle. Compact and robust, it can be configured for applications such as podcasting, web radio, live streaming and remote or onsite broadcast contribution. The RM1 pairs effortlessly with power banks for continuous use.”
RM1 features include an audio equaliser, compressor, limiter and on-air tally. AutoMix automatically balances all incoming audio channels, managing background music and unwanted distractions to ensure a clean and balanced mix. Additional automation features include automatic gain leveling and control. The RM1 delivers a signal ready for distribution, allowing the user to focus on content creation without being distracted by technology. All the RM1 needs to function is a desktop or kitchen table, a mains or USB-C power supply and the user’s preferred choice of dynamic or condenser microphone. Mono, stereo or full multitrack recording is possible when connected to PC or tablet via the USB-multichannel audio interface.
Also on demonstration will be the DHD SX2 compact mixing console and XS3 core. The SX2 is based on a central module with four motorised faders. SX2 units can function independently or be chained with others to create a single mixing desk. Also available is a fader module with six motorised faders. This allows the addition of a second layer accommodating up to 20 faders. Central and fader modules each incorporate a 10.1-inch multitouch display showing relevant configuration and operating parameters.
Occupying just 1U of rack space, the DHD XS3 IP Core audio processor allows fast and easy configuration of the SX2 console. An integral setup assistant tool enables a system supervisor to choose between default settings with a choice of assignable-button functions and display layouts. More advanced settings can be selected using DHD’s optional Toolbox configuration software.
